According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a weather warning for Monday, January 29. The forecast calls for fog, precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain, and dangerous ice glazing on roads. For Kyiv and the surrounding region, a Level I (yellow) danger alert has been declared.
Hazardous weather is predicted across Ukraine on Thursday, January 29. Ice accumulation is expected in the western and northern oblasts, while slippery road conditions will affect most of the country, excluding Zakarpattia and the southern and southeastern regions. In Kyiv and its region, visibility will drop to 200-500 meters overnight and in the morning due to fog. Temperatures in the capital region will range from -2 to +3 degrees Celsius, with Kyiv itself hovering around 0 degrees throughout the day. Winds in the capital area will be northeasterly at 5-10 m/s.
