According to ХВИЛЯ: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predicts predominantly dry conditions with partly cloudy skies across most of the country. The exception is the southeast, where short-lived rain and thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon.
Countrywide Conditions
Winds across Ukraine will come from the northeast, except in western regions where southerly winds are expected, at 5–10 m/s. Overnight lows will range from 11°C to 16°C, with daytime highs between 24°C and 29°C. In the south and southeast, nighttime temperatures will be 16–22°C, and daytime highs 28–33°C.
- For the Kyiv region: no precipitation, nighttime temperatures 11–16°C, daytime 24–29°C.
- For Kyiv city: no precipitation, nighttime 14–16°C, daytime 27–29°C.
The capital will also see a northeastern wind at 5–10 m/s. Earlier reports mentioned possible hail and squalls on August 7, and forecaster Natalka Didenko had indicated a shift in weather patterns.
