Ukrposhta does not raise parcel rates: how to save before the holidays
Ukrposhta does not raise delivery rates
According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukrposhta does not raise delivery rates for parcels before the holiday season, despite competitor Nova Poshta planning to increase its rates from December 1. The head of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilianskyi, noted that the company wants to provide its customers with the opportunity to save so that they have more funds for gifts.
Winter Support Program
The Winter Support Program being implemented in Ukraine allows citizens to receive 1000 hryvnias to pay for utilities and other needs, including sending parcels. This can be an important factor for those planning expenses during the holiday period.
Ihor Smilianskyi emphasized the importance of this initiative to support Ukrainians amid economic challenges. Ukrposhta is trying to keep rates at a stable level to maximize help for its customers during the holiday season.
By not raising rates, Ukrposhta hopes to strengthen its market position and attract new customers during a period when competitors like Nova Poshta are raising their prices. This decision may also positively impact consumer demand as Ukrainians receive financial support through the Winter Support Program, allowing them to plan their holiday expenses more easily.
