Ukrzaliznytsia launches 11 new trains: where new routes will appear in 2025

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrzaliznytsia promises more convenient connections for passengers by opening new routes both within the country and abroad. For example, one of the trains from Kramatorsk to Chop through Barvinkove will be very helpful for residents of Donetsk region, allowing them to quickly reach rehabilitation centers and resorts in Transcarpathia.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to increase the number of seats on trains by 20% and expand routes both domestically and internationally. The schedule for 2026 aims to enhance passenger comfort and improve the operation of the railway in general.
