According to Рубрика — Суспільство: The Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport of Ukraine, in collaboration with Ukrzaliznytsia, has included the railway stations of Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Berdychiv, and Bila Tserkva in the electronic List of bus stations of Ukrtransbespeky. This decision allows for the legalization of bus routes that operate directly from the stations and the creation of official boarding areas for passengers. An important aspect of this initiative is the organization of ticket sales through Ukrzaliznytsia, which will improve comfort and convenience for travelers.

Advantages of integrating railway stations

The inclusion of railway stations in the electronic List of bus stations allows for the official opening of new bus routes. This also involves the establishment of legal operating areas for bus carriers and the gradual removal of spontaneous boarding and disembarking points that currently function near the stations. According to information, part of the transportation is conducted from these informal locations, highlighting the importance of route legalization.

The next step in implementing this initiative is to organize ticket sales for bus routes through railway stations and Ukrzaliznytsia services. In the future, it is planned to introduce a multimodal ticket that will enable travel by both train and bus. Currently, over 400 objects have already been included in the electronic List of bus stations, confirming active work in this direction.

The inclusion of an object in the List of bus stations is a mandatory condition for providing official services to carriers and passengers. Moreover, priority is given to routes to and from frontline areas.
