Ukrzaliznytsia warns that a number of trains are running late: list
According to glavcom.ua: On the Khmelnytskyi railway, due to a contact network break, some trains are running late. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
Current situation as of 07:00:
- No. 144/142 Rakhiv, Ivano-Frankivsk – Sumy, Chernihiv +1.44;
- No. 22/104 Lviv – Kharkiv, Kramatorsk +3.16;
- No. 74 Przemysl – Kharkiv +2.51;
- No. 81 Kyiv – Chop +2.20;
- and others.
“Currently, traffic on the double-track section is carried out on one track, and work is ongoing to restore the contact network. We apologize and are speeding up; trains are already reducing the backlog from the schedule,” emphasized the company.
Previously, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' added additional flights between Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Truskavets, including trains No. 291/292 Kyiv – Lviv – Kyiv, No. 265/266 Kyiv – Odesa – Kyiv, and others.
It is also worth noting that prices for tea and coffee on 'Ukrzaliznytsia' trains will increase. This will happen for the first time in six years, in particular, the price for a glass of classic tea will rise from 10 UAH to 20 UAH.
As a result of the contact network break on the Khmelnytskyi railway, some trains are running with significant delays. The 'Ukrzaliznytsia' company is already working to restore the situation and is trying to send trains according to the schedule, reducing the delay from the timetable. In addition, there has been an announcement about raising prices for tea and coffee on the trains, which may affect passengers and their choice of drinks during the journey.
