Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of a new daily high-speed train 'Intercity' No. 753/754 connecting Dnipro and Odesa. The first train will depart on June 28.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

The new route will be the first regular high-speed 'Intercity' train in the history of independent Ukraine that directly connects Dnipro and Odesa.

Additionally, starting June 27, a new daily high-speed train 'Intercity' No. 765/766 Kyiv - Odesa will also be in operation.

Ukrzaliznytsia will increase the number of trips to Odesa and Ternopil

The company is also expanding the schedule of already existing high-speed routes. Train No. 763/764 Kyiv - Odesa and train No. 748/747 Kyiv - Ternopil will run six times a week instead of three.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that the increase in the number of trips was made possible thanks to the optimization of the use of high-speed rolling stock.

A new movement scheme has been created for the summer season

For the summer period, the carrier has formed a new cycle of high-speed electric train operations on the route Kyiv - Odesa - Dnipro.

Thanks to this scheme, one train set will be able to consecutively serve several popular destinations. The company expects that this will allow increasing the number of seats for passengers and improving transportation connections between cities during the summer tourist season.

It should be noted that complaints from passengers in Ukraine regarding the inability to purchase tickets for Ukrzaliznytsia trains have increased in the last decade of June.
