Ukrzaliznytsia launches additional trains Kyiv-Lviv and Kyiv-Vinnytsia: schedule for August
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to meet the high passenger demand and launch additional trains on the Kyiv-Lviv and Kyiv-Vinnytsia routes in the second half of August. The services will include train No. 249/250 and No. 243/244 Kyiv-Lviv, as well as No. 775/776 Kyiv-Vinnytsia, to meet the needs of passengers.
Schedule of additional trains to Lviv and Vinnytsia
The operation of additional trains includes the following services:
- No. 249/250 Kyiv-Lviv: departure from Kyiv and Lviv on August 18 and 19.
- No. 243/244 Kyiv-Lviv: departure from Kyiv and Lviv on August 16, 17, and 20.
- No. 775/776 Kyiv-Vinnytsia: departure from Kyiv and Vinnytsia on August 31.
It is noted that the trains will consist of regular sleeper cars of Ukrzaliznytsia, but with seats for sitting.
Additional train Kyiv-Odesa
The additional train No. 265/266 Kyiv-Odesa will depart from Kyiv from August 20-31 with compartment cars with seats for sitting. Prepare for new ticket purchasing rules and the launch of the BankID identification system in the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application, which is planned to be implemented from September.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of additional trains on popular routes to provide a comfortable journey for passengers in the second half of August. Now passengers will be able to quickly and conveniently reach Lviv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa from Kyiv, as well as take advantage of the new ticket purchasing rules using BankID through the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile application.
