Ukrzaliznytsia launches additional Intercity train: route, dates, and schedule

"Ukrzaliznytsia" has appointed an additional express train No. 755/756 Kyiv - Lutsk for two September weekends. It will operate from Friday to Sunday on September 18–20 and 25–27, to increase the number of seats on this popular route. Earlier, the same train was already included in the additional holiday trains. This was reported by the press service of the "Ukrzaliznytsia" company.

Intercity schedule Kyiv - Lutsk in September 2026

The additional train No. 755/756 will run six days: September 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27. This schedule will allow passengers to leave Kyiv for Volyn in the morning and return to the capital in the evening.

The Intercity will depart from Kyiv at 07:26 and arrive in Lutsk at 13:00. Thus, the journey will take 5 hours and 34 minutes.

In the opposite direction, the train will leave Lutsk at 16:17 and arrive in Kyiv at 21:41. The travel time will be 5 hours and 24 minutes.

"The train will depart from Kyiv at 7:26 and arrive in Lutsk at 13:00. In the opposite direction, it will start from Lutsk at 16:17, arriving in Kyiv at 21:41," reported the "Ukrzaliznytsia".

The route will have five intermediate stops: in Fastiv, Berdychiv, Shepetivka, Zdolbuniv, and Rivne. Thus, the additional train will increase the seating offer not only between Kyiv and Lutsk.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" regularly launches additional trains for weekends and periods of increased demand when tickets for main routes quickly sell out.

What the ticket price for Intercity will depend on

Passengers should consider that the ticket price may depend on the class of the carriage and the date of purchase. Since April 25, 2026, dynamic pricing applies for the first class of domestic Intercity trains.

The final cost is influenced by the season, day of the week, advance ticket purchase, and occupancy of the train. These dynamic pricing rules do not apply to the second class of Intercity.

Therefore, passengers planning a trip to Lutsk on one of the September weekends should check for availability and current prices directly during booking.
