New train Kyiv-Odesa from Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukrzaliznytsia announced the launch of an additional train No. 265/266 on the Kyiv-Odesa route. The train will depart from Kyiv on August 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 at 8:40 and will arrive in Odesa at 18:08. From Odesa, it will leave on the same day at 11:27 and arrive in Kyiv at 20:20.

Tickets for the new train can be purchased through the "Ukrzaliznytsia" app, on the website booking.uz.gov.ua, or at the ticket offices of the stations. We also remind you that in September it is planned to implement the BankID identification system in the company's mobile application.

Changes in ticket purchasing from Ukrzaliznytsia

After scandals with ticket purchases for popular destinations, Ukrzaliznytsia has tightened control. Since July 25, inspections of more than 300 trains have been conducted, resulting in no violations detected at most stations. The format of the test identity verification for purchasing tickets through the company's app has also changed. We emphasize that Ukrzaliznytsia notes dynamic pricing due to losses in passenger transportation.
