The creator of noses for the Long-nose Show died from a drone strike in Kyiv

On the night of November 25, as a result of the attack by the Russian Federation on Kyiv, decorator and props artist Vadym Tupchiy, known as the creator of noses for the 'Long-nose Show', was killed. His apartment in Rusianivka was destroyed by a Russian drone. This was reported by journalist Denys Kazansky, and confirmed by the deceased's son Anton for 'Kyiv24'.

According to his son, his father lived in this apartment for over 26 years and created decorations for Ukrainian films and performances in his workshop. Vadym Tupchiy started as an actor, later working as a set designer in the theater. He dedicated his creativity to the 'Long-nose Show', creating latex noses for the participants of the project. The organization PEN Ukraine also noted that Tupchiy's apartment contained his works, masks, and musical instruments.

Colleagues and friends express their condolences on social media. Archaeologist Timur Bobrovskyi called Tupchiy 'an extraordinarily creative, ironic, and brilliant master'. Scientist Igor Zhuk recalled him as 'a unique master, a wonderful friend, and a good person'.

Actor Viktor Andriyenko, author and producer of the 'Long-nose Show', posted a black background with today’s date on social media.

Other events on the night of November 25

Let us remind you that on the same night, seven people were killed in the capital as a result of the night attack, and 18 people were rescued, including three children. Emergency Services teams remain on the scene to continue assisting the affected and searching for survivors among the rubble.

At the same time, Russian terrorists struck various areas of Kyiv region, resulting in the destruction of several houses. Among those injured was a child who was wounded as a result of shelling of a residential building in Bilopillia.
