Ukrainian 9-Year-Old Chess Player Wins Bronze at World Blitz Championship

According to Спортивний комітет: Ukrainian chess player Oleksandr Savchuk has claimed the bronze medal at the World Chess Championship for children aged 9 to 17 in the blitz category. The competition, held in Antalya, Turkey, brought together over 300 participants from 33 countries.
Oleksandr Savchuk scored 6.5 points out of 9 possible in the under-9 category. This result secured him third place based on tie-break criteria. Another Ukrainian, Myron Netrabka, also performed admirably, but due to a loss in the final round, he finished sixth.
We sincerely congratulate Oleksandr Savchuk on his bronze medal and wish him new victories in future competitions!
