Increase in allowances for the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution to increase monthly allowances for non-working members of the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, which will take effect from December 1, 2025. According to the new regulations, the allowance for loss of breadwinner will be 12,971 hryvnias.

Previously, the amount of payments was 5,000 hryvnias, 6,500 hryvnias, or 8,000 hryvnias, depending on the number of dependents in the family. This increase aims to enhance financial support for those who have lost their breadwinner as a result of the tragic events related to the fight for Ukraine's future.

Social support for families

Today, 92 members of the families of 76 Heavenly Hundred Heroes receive pensions due to the loss of a breadwinner. The new payments, which will come into effect in December 2025, are intended to improve the social security of these families.
