Cabinet Approves New Deputy Ministers for Education and Defense
Anastasiia Sofienko Appointed to Education Ministry
According to Главком: Anastasiia Sofienko has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Education and Science. This staffing change follows the Cabinet of Ministers' dismissal of Andrii Stashkiv from the position on January 22. Sofienko earned her PhD in Economics in 2020, defending her dissertation at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She has prior experience working within the Ministry of Education and Science. These appointments come as Ukraine continues to manage its education system during a period of national crisis.
New Deputy Ministers for Defense Announced
The Cabinet of Ministers has also approved a reshuffled lineup of deputy defense ministers. Oleksii Vyskub has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense, having previously served as First Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation since 2019. Ivan Havryliuk is now a Deputy Minister of Defense, and Serhii Boiev has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for Eurointegration.
