According to Мін. Економіки: The Ukrainian government has endorsed a comprehensive roadmap for integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) frameworks alongside sustainable finance tools for the period from 2026 to 2028. This plan outlines essential steps aimed at strengthening the regulatory framework, attracting investments, and embedding ESG principles into national policies and the economy.
This roadmap focuses on establishing a solid foundation across regulatory, institutional, methodological, and data-analytical dimensions to support ESG adoption. It also emphasizes incorporating ESG criteria within financial and investment regulations and related oversight practices.
Alexander Krasnolutsky highlighted that 'The roadmap will facilitate the gradual adoption of European sustainable finance standards in Ukraine, creating clear guidelines for government bodies, businesses, and investors.'
