The government simplified the process of obtaining sports prostheses for veterans: what has changed

The government of Ukraine prioritized the initiative of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity to ease the obtaining of sports prostheses for servicemen and veterans.

Previously, veterans who needed a sports prosthesis had to prove their participation in competitions included in state or regional calendar plans, which required a lot of additional documents and approvals. The new decision allows them to obtain sports prostheses without this bureaucracy.

From now on, veterans can receive a sports prosthesis without having to prove their participation in competitions, which will contribute to their rehabilitation. This decision has led to a reduction in bureaucratic obstacles, ensured equal access to sports prosthetics for all veterans, and will help support their physical and psychological rehabilitation.

The Ukrainian government supported the initiative to facilitate the obtaining of sports prostheses for veterans, which will allow them to receive the necessary tools for physical activity and rehabilitation faster and without unnecessary complications.
