According to 5 канал: The Ukrainian government has earmarked 150 million hryvnias to restore 11 apartment buildings damaged by Russian strikes in the Zaporizhzhia region. This funding comes from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. Of the total, 43 million hryvnias are dedicated to two reconstruction projects already underway, while 107 million hryvnias will finance nine new initiatives in Zaporizhzhia city. All repair work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year to ensure residents can return home as soon as possible.

Impact of the Attacks on Zaporizhzhia

Recent nighttime drone attacks by Russian forces targeted Zaporizhzhia, damaging residential high-rises, a university, and a shopping center. Six civilians were injured as a result. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) rescued five individuals and evacuated 14 others. Psychological support was provided to 16 local residents by SES specialists. Additionally, 55 settlements across Zaporizhzhia district came under attack, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.

Serhiy Koretsky stated: 'Forty-three million hryvnias are allocated for two ongoing restoration projects, and 107 million hryvnias for nine new ones in Zaporizhzhia. All work is expected to finish by the year’s end, enabling residents to return home promptly.'

He emphasized the critical need to restore housing for those affected by Russian aggression: 'Despite limited financial resources, we must prioritize rebuilding homes damaged by the attacks. This is especially vital for frontline towns and communities. We are collaborating with local authorities to identify urgent needs and direct funds where they are most needed.'
