The government launches a business insurance program: 1 billion hryvnias for risk compensation

According to ХВИЛЯ: The government of Ukraine is launching a new business support program that will take effect from January 1, 2026, and will provide compensation for insurance risks. As part of the state budget project for 2026, 1 billion hryvnias has been allocated for this purpose. The program aims to ease the financial burden on enterprises facing risks in their operations.

Compensation Conditions and Program Goals

Compensation will be provided at a preferential rate of 0.5%. This will allow enterprises to obtain the necessary financial support for recovery and business development. It is especially important that enterprises in frontline zones will be able to receive up to 10 million hryvnias in compensation for damaged or destroyed property. This will be an important step in supporting businesses in the regions most affected by the conflict.

Oleksiy Sobolev, a government representative, noted that 1 billion hryvnias will be allocated for the implementation of this program. He also added:
