Launch of a Unified Support Program Platform

According to Главком: The Ukrainian government has introduced a single online platform consolidating winter support programs for individuals, multi-apartment building associations (OSBB), businesses, and communities. This initiative, launched during a period of heightened energy challenges, provides clear details on eligibility and application procedures for aid aimed at boosting energy resilience for households, supporting citizens, and ensuring business continuity.

Comprehensive Aid for Diverse Groups

The platform details a wide array of assistance tailored for different segments of the population. Available support for individuals includes:

  • Monthly payments for repair crew workers;
  • The 'LightHome' program for household energy independence;
  • 'Warmth packages' for persons with disabilities and single pensioners;
  • The 'EcoFlow' program for children with Group A disabilities.

Businesses are also offered substantial support: sole proprietors (FOPs) can receive grants between 7.5 and 15 thousand hryvnias for purchasing or repairing generators, buying fuel, or covering utility costs. Furthermore, zero-interest loans of up to 10 million hryvnias for a term of three years are available for energy equipment, alongside loans under the government's 5-7-9% programs.

In a separate move to recognize critical workers, the Cabinet of Ministers has also established an annual award for energy sector employees. This decision provides for up to 50 annual prizes, each worth 200 thousand hryvnias.

This portal serves as a comprehensive hub with full details on all active support opportunities, their conditions, and application processes. It is the single access point for tools designed to strengthen household energy independence, support people, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of businesses.

The launch of this platform represents a significant step toward improving living conditions for citizens and bolstering businesses amid growing challenges linked to the energy crisis. By centralizing diverse aid programs in one location, the platform simplifies the process of accessing support for both the public and entrepreneurs. This centralized approach is expected to enhance the efficiency of implementing energy efficiency and conservation measures across Ukraine.
