Yuriy Semenyuk - the best volleyball player in Ukraine in 2025

According to Главком: Yuriy Semenyuk has been named the best volleyball player in Ukraine for 2025, according to the results of voting by experts, coaches, and fans. He earned this title thanks to his outstanding results, which were based on a survey that included 100 voters, among them 25 experts, coaches, and team captains, as well as 25 journalists. The announcement of the voting results took place in 2025.

Yuriy Semenyuk, a 31-year-old blocker for the Polish team 'Warsaw' and the national team of Ukraine, managed to score 225 points, of which 29 were awarded for first place. This is his second consecutive recognition as the best volleyball player in Ukraine. The voting on the Telegram channel of the Volleyball Federation of Ukraine (FVU) involved 4226 fans. Among them:

• Oleg Plotnitsky - 30 points
• Dmytro Yanchuk - 20 points
• Vasyl Tupchiy - 10 points

Dmytro Yanchuk took second place, scoring 176 points, of which 21 were for first place, plus 20 points from fans. Vasyl Tupchiy also received 176 points, with 16 for first place and 10 points from fans.

Results of the 'Warsaw' club and the national team of Ukraine

The 'Warsaw' club finished the previous Plus League season in third place, while in the Champions League, the team reached the quarterfinals. In turn, the national team of Ukraine ended in ninth place in the Nations League.
