Ukrzaliznytsia canceled two trains from Dnipro and Zaporizhia to Poland: a bus trip costs up to 4000 UAH

Starting October 20, trains No. 79/80 'Sicheslav' Dnipro – Lviv and No. 31/32 Zaporizhia – Przemyśl will not be operating. After the cancellation of the two routes, passengers have access to other trains or buses, with individual tickets reaching 4000 UAH. This is reported by TSN.ua.

Trains to Lviv and Przemyśl: what alternatives remain

Ukrzaliznytsia explains the decision by the deterioration of the security situation and a decrease in passenger traffic. At the same time, the cancellation of the 'Sicheslav' does not mean the complete cessation of rail service between Dnipro and Lviv.

Among alternatives, the company mentions trains No. 39/40, 5/6, 3/4, 85/86, 41/42, 61/62, 261/262, and 127/128. Availability of seats and the operation of a specific route should be checked on the chosen date.

To get to Przemyśl from Zaporizhia, passengers are offered to make a transfer in Lviv or Kyiv. In TSN's example, the route Dnipro – Kyiv – Przemyśl takes about 22 hours and costs from 3148 UAH: from 613 UAH to the capital and from 2535 UAH to Poland.

The transfer in this option lasts two hours. For another route, Dnipro – Kyiv – Lviv, the publication only mentions 23 minutes between trains. Due to possible delays and evacuation stops, such coordination requires special attention.
