Uzhhorod Regatta 2026: A tradition revived

According to УНІАН — Туризм: Held on July 26, 2026, the Uzhhorod Regatta marked a return after a five-year hiatus, becoming the first charity rowing event on the Uzh River since the start of the full-scale war. All proceeds went to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Twenty-nine teams took part, showcasing both skill and creativity in this water competition. The regatta has a history dating back to 2010, when it was first held, and was an annual occurrence until the COVID-19 pandemic forced its cancellation in 2020. It made a brief comeback in 2021 but was then suspended from 2022 through 2025 due to the ongoing war. This event is part of a long-standing local tradition in the city of Uzhhorod, combining sport with community solidarity.

Winners were recognized in four categories, highlighting a range of participant achievements:

• Largest crew: "Circus Show" team
