Six People Freed by Rescuers After Car Crash in Irpin

According to Главком: A serious traffic accident on Hostomelske Highway in Irpin left six individuals trapped inside a severely damaged vehicle. Responding to the scene, firefighters from the 36th State Fire and Rescue Unit deployed 6 personnel and 1 piece of specialized equipment to extricate the victims. The group included four adults-one of whom was pregnant-and two children.
To free those trapped, rescue crews used hydraulic cutting tools. Once safely extracted, all victims were handed over to emergency medical teams for transport to the hospital. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES):
“Using specialized hydraulic equipment, rescuers freed all the victims and transferred them to emergency medical workers for further hospitalization.” - SES
This incident is part of a broader pattern of road accidents across the country. In Boryspil, a collision occurred between a passenger bus and a Jeep SUV; at the time of the crash, 17 passengers were aboard the bus. Additionally, on May 27, a fatal crash on the Kyiv-Odesa highway claimed two lives, including Ukrainian blogger Victoria (known online as Vikunciy) and her assistant Ivanka.
