According to САП: A corruption scheme has recently been uncovered in Odessa: a district court judge and a lawyer were accepting a bribe of 10 thousand US dollars. They were detained after receiving the second part of the bribe, and an investigation is ongoing.
The judge and the lawyer convinced the defendant in a civil case to obtain an unlawful benefit in exchange for a decision in his favor, the transfer of funds was documented
The perpetrators have been subjected to preventive measures, but the investigation into other accomplices is ongoing. It is important to note that until a court ruling is made, a person remains innocent.
