Expanded list of settlements subject to mandatory evacuation
According to glavcom.ua: As of today, the list of settlements in the Kherson region subject to mandatory evacuation has been expanded. Families with children are prohibited from entering these zones. This was reported by
"Glavkom"
citing the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
"These are dangerous areas that are constantly under enemy shelling and drone attacks," he stated.
Notified settlements
- the village of Inzhenerne;
- Komyshansky, Sadovsky, and Antonovsky starostats (including streets 1-34 Vostochny);
- in Kherson – neighborhoods Korabel (Island), Yantarny-1, Yantarny-2, and the streets of Andrey Orlov, Hretska, Soborna, and Perekopskaya (all streets and alleys below to the Dnieper).
"I urge all residents: do not delay your departure! We, together with volunteers, will assist with evacuation, settlement, humanitarian aid, and the execution of all payments from the state and charitable organizations," Shanko emphasized.
If necessary, authorities request to contact the Kherson regional military administration's 'hotline': 050-040-44-24 or 098-958-17-90. They also discussed enhancing support for Defense Forces, countering drone attacks, and protecting critical infrastructure.
Recall that earlier in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians dropped explosives from a UAV on an evacuation bus. As a result of the strike, the rear wheels of the minibus were damaged, the fuel tank was hit, windows were shattered, the interior was damaged, and the driveshaft was pierced. The driver of the evacuation crew miraculously remained alive and unharmed.
By the way, the full-scale war is continuing into its 1247th day.
The announcement of the expanded list of settlements subject to mandatory evacuation in the Kherson region indicates the ongoing tense situation in the eastern part of the country and the need to ensure the safety of residents. Providing assistance and coordinating evacuation efforts are essential tasks in light of the increasing threats from enemy shelling and drone activities. Authorities urge citizens to remain vigilant and comply with established requirements to ensure their safety.
