Explosions in occupied Donetsk and Yasynuvata
According to glavcom.ua: On the night of July 1, explosions erupted in temporarily occupied Donetsk, which the occupiers described as a missile attack. Residents report continuous explosions and fires in various parts of the city. Among the artillery shelling, they mention attacks with cruise missiles and drones, as well as possible hits and a fire near the metallurgical plant.
Explosions have also been recorded in Yasynuvata, which was occupied by Russians in 2014. Witnesses report hits near the railway station, indicating a significant level of tension in the region.
Failed attempt by the Russian terrorist army to break through to Dnipropetrovsk region
Head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalенко claims that the Russian terrorist army failed to break through to Dnipropetrovsk region. Fighting continues near the administrative border, where Russian FPV drones have also been recorded. In Kovalенко's statement, it is noted that the situation remains complicated, but there is currently no breakthrough by the aggressor.
The events in occupied Donetsk and Yasynuvata indicate the ongoing tense situation in the region. At the same time, the failed attempt by the Russian terrorist army to break through to the Dnipropetrovsk region demonstrates the successful defense by Ukrainian forces against aggression.
