Today, August 13, there will be no precipitation in Ukraine. This is reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the 'Ukrhydrometcenter'.

In most regions, it will be cool at night - 11-16°, during the day the air will warm up to 23-28°. Only in the south and in Transcarpathia will it be warmer at night - 14-19°, during the day hot weather with temperatures of 27-32° is expected.

90% of the peach crop destroyed

Earlier we wrote that spring frosts were catastrophic for Ukrainian gardeners and farmers. This information was spread by 'Glavkom', citing an interview with Dmitry Ostapenko, director of Green Technology Ltd, for the EastFruit project.

It should be noted that as a result of night frosts from April 7 to 13, approximately 90% of the peach crop was destroyed, leading to enormous losses and raising doubts about the economic viability of the season. During the coldest night, the temperature in the orchard dropped to -6.6°, which was fatal for the peach blossoms that were in full bloom.

The weather in Ukraine today will be dry, with cool night temperatures and hot daytime temperatures. However, the destructive spring frosts led to massive losses of the peach crop, which may seriously affect the economics of the season.
