This roundtable will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas and proposals aimed at improving Ukraine’s vehicle inspection framework.

Why This Reform Matters

Reforming mandatory technical inspections is a crucial step for Ukraine as it aligns with broader European integration efforts. The goal is not only to bring national standards in line with EU requirements but also to enhance the quality of vehicle safety checks, which could help reduce road accidents.

The roundtable debate will mark a key milestone in shaping new policies for this sector, requiring active engagement from all stakeholders.

As Ukraine moves forward with the reform of its vehicle inspection system, the establishment of a new vehicle registry is also on the agenda. This initiative is expected to complement the ongoing changes by improving data management and enhancing transparency within the transport sector. Understanding the implications of both reforms will be crucial for stakeholders involved in ensuring road safety and compliance with European standards.
