Frosts will cover Ukraine from September 20: forecasters have given a forecast
On Friday, September 19, variable cloudiness is expected in Ukraine, with occasional rain and gusts of wind. This is reported by 'Glavcom' referring to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Forecasters predict light rain in the western regions of the country. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The temperature at night will be between 6-11°C, in the south and west - 9-14°C; during the day, the air will warm up to 18-23°C, while in the Carpathians, it will be 3-8°C at night and 9-14°C during the day.
Forecast for the Kyiv region and the capital
Variable cloudiness is expected in the Kyiv region and Kyiv. There is no precipitation expected during the day. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 m/s. The air temperature at night will be within 6-11°C, and during the day 18-23°C, in Kyiv itself - at night 8-10°C and during the day around 20°C.
According to forecasters, a sharp change in weather conditions can be expected in the third decade of September. After September 20, cold Arctic air masses will arrive in Ukraine, which may lead to the first frosts on the ground surface in the northern, eastern, and western regions.
It is forecasted that precipitation in September will be 20-40% less than usual, which may cause drought, especially in the Left Bank region. This may increase the risk of fires, particularly in areas with insufficient moisture.
The East European anticyclonic area has visited Ukraine, providing great tranquility.
