A digital platform for Ukrainians abroad 'Home' starts working in Ukraine

In Ukraine, a digital platform «Home» has begun operating in test mode, created for Ukrainians who are abroad and considering returning. The service provides information on employment, social support, communities, and other reintegration opportunities. This is reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

Purpose of the 'Home' platform

The platform aims to become a single information space for Ukrainians planning to return to their homeland.

With its help, users can:

• find out how to prepare for return;
• formulate a personal reintegration plan;
• find information about employment;
• familiarize themselves with educational opportunities;
• receive information about social support and government services.

A separate section is dedicated to Unity Centers and organizations abroad that consult Ukrainians about returning to Ukraine.

The platform already features over 100 communities

One of the main functions of the service became 'business cards' for Ukrainian communities ready to welcome people after their return.

Here, you can find information about local infrastructure, available services, employment opportunities, and contacts of local government bodies.

Currently, more than 100 Ukrainian communities have already joined the project, and information continues to be updated in collaboration with the Association of Cities of Ukraine.

The platform operates in test mode

The Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine for European Integration, Ilona Havronska, noted that the decision to return is personal and largely depends on the security situation.

According to her, the platform's task is to provide Ukrainians with reliable information about available opportunities and help them make informed decisions.

The 'Home' platform was created within the framework of the YOUA project - 'Forming new paths, building the future of Ukraine,' which is implemented with the support of the German government in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.

Let us remind you that the European Commission offers to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians in the EU until March 2028.
