For the first time in Ukraine: veterans will be supported in employment through a new project

Veteran employment in Ukraine
Перший в Україні проект надає допомогу ветеранам у пошуку роботи.

A pilot project on veteran policy has been launched within the system of the State Employment Service of Ukraine. This initiative starts in the Dnipropetrovsk regional employment center under the leadership of veteran Serhiy Zvirk, who gained active combat experience in 2014. It is noteworthy that Dnipropetrovsk region has the highest number of veterans in Ukraine, thus the implementation of veteran policy here will occur on a large scale.

An important step was the signing of a tripartite memorandum of support for Veterans between the State Employment Service, the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, and the Veterans Association 'Titans.UA', which includes over 400 members. This project is aimed at individual support for veterans on their path to returning to civilian life after military service. The memorandum provides for support in professional rehabilitation, training, employment, and assistance in business development. Many veterans have already become active participants in public life and support others in difficult times.
