New air defense centers in three regions: how Ukraine is strengthening its air defense
Ukraine's Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced plans to create additional air defense centers in three regions of the country to be better prepared for possible threats from Russia.
According to him, after visiting the Coordination Center for Air Defense in Kharkiv region, he held a meeting with representatives of Chernihiv, Poltava, and Zaporizhia regions. At the meeting, important decisions were made.
'Expanding this experience to other regions will allow us to respond more quickly to threats, coordinate actions among all forces involved in countering air attacks, and ensure effective protection of critical facilities and residents. Ukraine is consistently strengthening its air defense efforts' - explained the Defense Minister.
Shmyhal emphasized that the work of the Coordination Center in Kharkiv has already proven effective, so now this experience will be extended to other regions for maximum protection of the country.
Ukraine's Defense Minister plans to establish additional air defense centers in three regions of the country to combat potential threats. Expanding this experience to other regions is expected to help ensure optimal protection of the country from air attacks.
