The demining coalition will create 8 battalions by 2025: what tasks

According to Мін. Оборони: Ukraine has honorably welcomed the delegation of the Demining Capability Coalition. This was the first meeting of the working group of participating states that coordinates support in Ukraine's fight against mines and ordnance.

During the meeting, the delegation visited places where demining programs, specialist training, and equipment are conducted. The issue of purchasing necessary equipment for the coming years was also discussed.

“By the end of 2025, it is planned to prepare and equip 8 battalions with new equipment, which will allow more than 450 teams to engage in demining under difficult conditions,” the meeting participants emphasized.

Ukraine is not only actively working to rid its territory of mines but is also receiving support from international partners, which will contribute to the safety and well-being of residents in conflict zones.
