To address this, an algorithm now analyzes the publicly accessible database of court rulings, creating a ranking system grounded in lawyers’ actual case results. This innovation offers clients a data-backed way to select legal representatives, enhancing transparency and improving the overall selection process.

Although Ukraine’s court decision registry has been publicly available for some time, between January and August 2026, 129,851 cases involving lawyers were reviewed. As of September 3, 2026, the database includes statistics on 20,750 lawyers. The ranking can be filtered by region and case type, helping clients find specialists tailored to their specific legal needs.

Top-Ranked Lawyers and Key Practice Areas

Among the highest-performing lawyers are:

• Viktor Filatov from Zaporizhzhia region, boasting 63 victories with no losses;
• Volodymyr Didenko from Lviv region, who has won all 43 of his cases;
• Viktoriya Nikolenko, a specialist in credit disputes, with 43 wins.

These figures demonstrate how algorithmic analysis can significantly streamline the lawyer selection process by focusing on tangible courtroom success.

Clients interested in selecting the right lawyer can access a public ranking platform. While the statistics serve as a valuable guide, they do not guarantee outcomes. It remains essential to conduct a personal consultation before making a final choice. Experts recommend verifying three key aspects prior to signing a contract:

• Experience with cases similar to yours;
• Success rates in those cases;
• Recency of legal practice.

The ranking system categorizes cases into civil, commercial, administrative, and minor offense disputes.
