An electronic queue for free joint replacement has been launched in Ukraine
The electronic queue for joint replacement has been launched on the Diya.Engine platform
Since the beginning of 2021, it has been possible to register for free joint replacement on the Diya.Engine platform. This service is designed for people who need joint replacement.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the electronic queue will promote transparency and fairness in the joint replacement procedure. All processes follow clear rules established on the platform. The queue is formed automatically, taking into account medical indicators, urgency, and the date of the patient's request.
The list of patients is added by the doctor after a consultation with an orthopedic traumatologist.
If surgery is needed, the patient's data is entered into the electronic system. The system then automatically forms the queue. This will facilitate the sequence and efficiency of the process.
During patient registration, they will be notified via the provided contact details when it will be their turn for surgery.
After the operation, the patient's status will change, ensuring transparency and eliminating the possibility of any manipulations with the queue. Currently, 97 hospitals in Ukraine offer free prosthetics.
About the Diya.Engine platform
Diya.Engine is a low-code platform that allows for the quick, safe, and standardized creation of registers and digital systems. Each register is developed using functional blocks and ready-made modules, significantly saving time and money on development. Thanks to Diya.Engine, registers operate autonomously and update independently of the developer, enabling rapid scalability and modernization.
The launch of the electronic queue for joint replacement on the Diya.Engine platform allows patients to register more easily and receive a systematic and fair opportunity for free joint replacement surgery. A system full of sequence and efficiency helps avoid any ambiguities and fraud in the provision of medical assistance.
