The government has approved new rules for women deputies of local councils regarding traveling abroad. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.

'Women who are deputies of local councils can travel abroad without restrictions. However, exceptions apply to those female deputies who are officials of local self-government - have the relevant authority and receive a salary from the local budget. These deputies can only travel abroad under certain conditions, such as business trips or visits to children who are outside the country.'

The border guards explained that for the departure of such persons abroad, an update of the databases in the prescribed manner and within the deadlines set by the government is required.
