Counterfeit acts of utility workers identified in Kyiv: how to check your documents
According to hvylya.net: A case of possible forgery of official documents by the utility company 'Management Company of the Shevchenkivskyi District' has been recorded in Kyiv. Oleg Popenko, chairman of the Consumer Union of Utility Services, reported this after publishing copies of completed work acts provided by a resident. According to him, one of the documents contains the surname of an unknown person and bears a signature that the applicant does not recognize, although the contact phone number on the form is correct.
Warning to Consumers
Oleg Popenko emphasizes that such cases are not isolated and occur in different cities of Ukraine. He urged citizens to carefully check the documents received from utility services, as even acts on minor issues, such as disinsection, may be forged.
'Be careful and cautious. Every document requires thorough verification. Collect such materials as the applicant does to have grounds to go to court,' Popenko emphasized.
Citizens' Responsibility
The expert believes that this incident indicates the willingness of some utility management leaders to engage in blatant violations even in minor administrative matters. He urges to document all suspicious cases and submit evidence to the competent authorities.
The event involving possible document forgery in Kyiv highlights the importance of consumer vigilance in utility services. Citizens are called to be attentive, check every document, and be ready to go to court if forgery is detected. Help preserve the integrity and truthfulness of documents in the city!
