The head of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, confirmed that an initiative is being discussed to allow men aged 18 to 25 to travel abroad. He noted that this topic is being debated in parliament, including the work of a special committee. “Therefore, we must find a mechanism that will provide them with the opportunity to fully exercise their rights. I am waiting for the results of the committee's work on liberalization,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
People's Deputy Fyodor Venislavsky previously expressed the opinion of raising the age limit for obtaining permission for young men to travel abroad to 23-24 years.
