According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada supported the law on establishing a national daily moment of silence in the country. This decision received support from 314 members of parliament. According to the law, the purpose of this ritual is to honor the memory of those who died during the war in eastern Ukraine, as well as to promote the consolidation of society and the formation of national identity.

The draft law stipulates that the daily moment of silence will become an important ritual of gratitude, respect, and memory, which will strengthen the unity of Ukrainians during the war

Other important decisions

In addition, the Verkhovna Rada recommended approving a draft law to rename the 'kopeck' to 'shag'. Unfortunately, there were also incidents during the meeting: MPs Maryana Bezuhla and Serhiy Taruta became involved in a fight during the discussion of military reform and the situation in the Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian parliament adopted a law on the national moment of silence, aimed at honoring the memory of the fallen during the war and supporting national identity.
