Disabled veterans receive compensation for car retrofitting: up to 70 thousand hryvnias

According to hvylya.net: The government of Ukraine has decided to support disabled veterans who have retrofitted their cars. They will receive a monetary compensation of up to 70 thousand hryvnias for actual expenses.

Starting in 2026, veterans will have the opportunity to receive compensation based on actual expenses for car retrofitting. To obtain the funds, it will be necessary to apply to the relevant institutions with a statement and documents.

'Creating a barrier-free environment for disabled veterans demonstrates our respect for their contribution to the defense of the country. It means access to transport, education, medicine, and employment without any obstacles.'

This initiative will fit into the implementation of the strategy of creating a barrier-free space in Ukraine, aimed at improving the living conditions of veterans.
