BUDANOV DONATES MINIBUS TO CS GLADIATOR VETERANS: HOW THIS BOOSTS THEIR COMPETITIVE EDGE
CS Gladiator Squad Receives a Minibus
According to Главком: A team of war veterans and individuals with disabilities, known as CS Gladiator, has been given a minibus by Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, to travel to competitions. Based in the Zakarpattia region, the team reached out to Budanov for assistance, explaining that while they already have the necessary equipment and a gym, they lack vehicles to participate in national tournaments.
Budanov visited Zakarpattia roughly two weeks before the release of a video in which the team introduced themselves and the Federation of Adaptive Sports. During the meeting, CS Gladiator outlined their needs, specifically the shortage of transport. In response, they received a brand-new Mercedes Sprinter minibus, which will be used for trips to competitions.
Why Supporting Veteran Initiatives Matters
In a video shared on social media, team members thanked Budanov, emphasizing how this support is crucial for advancing the veteran movement in the region.
'This is about moving forward, about believing in yourself, and about the strength of a team that grows every day. Kyrylo Oleksiyovych Budanov, from the CS Gladiator team and the Federation of Adaptive Sports, we sincerely thank you for your support of the team and the development of the veteran movement in Zakarpattia!' The acquisition of this minibus marks a significant step in backing veteran sports in Ukraine, especially regarding the social integration of people with disabilities. It also highlights the proactive role of state institutions in fostering adaptive sports, which can help promote a healthy lifestyle among veterans and individuals with limited mobility.
