Explosion at the Territorial Center for Recruitment in Odesa

According to glavcom.ua: Today, an explosion occurred in the territory of the Peresyp District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Odesa. As a result, a man, an employee of the center, died, and another was injured. This was reported by 'Hlavcom,' citing the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

According to preliminary data, during a conversation between military servicemen and a citizen, an explosion of an unidentified object occurred in the latter's personal belongings. The citizen died at the scene.

Injuries and investigative teams on site

A military serviceman of the center was also injured. He received assistance and was taken to the hospital. His condition is currently being clarified.

Currently, investigative-operational groups of the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Emergency Service are working at the scene. They are establishing all circumstances of the incident, as well as the source of the explosive object.

'The management of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support is providing full assistance to law enforcement agencies in conducting investigative actions. We ask representatives of the media and the public to refrain from spreading unverified information and to wait for the official conclusions of the competent authorities,' the message states.

Recall that on November 21, an explosion also occurred in one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support in Odesa.

It should be noted that the investigation of the incident is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are taking all necessary measures to establish the causes and circumstances of the explosion.
