Investigations Underway in Belgium and Norway

According to Главком: Authorities in Belgium and Norway are investigating a series of explosive incidents that occurred in recent days. These include attacks near a religious institution and a diplomatic mission. In the Belgian city of Liège, an explosion near a synagogue has been officially classified as an antisemitic act. Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Quintin stated this was a direct attack on the Jewish community. Belgium's Federal Prosecutor's Office has taken control of the case due to potential signs of a terrorist crime.

No one was injured in the Liège explosion, though the building sustained minor damage. In Norway's capital, Oslo, an improvised explosive device detonated near the entrance to the U.S. Embassy. Norwegian police are analyzing surveillance footage, which captured a suspicious individual dressed in dark clothing. This incident raised further concerns when a video featuring an image of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei appeared on Google Maps at the time of the explosion.

Diplomatic Missions Under Attack

Separately, in Saudi Arabia, an attack on the U.S. Embassy was recorded, involving two Iranian drones. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense confirmed the assault, which resulted in minor material damage. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has declared it has begun efforts to destroy American political centers in the region.

These events follow an earlier attack in Ukraine. On the night of February 22, explosions rang out near the Magnus shopping center in Lviv. The detonation of improvised explosive devices resulted in the death of 23-year-old police officer Viktoria Shpilka and injured 25 people, most of whom were police officers and National Guard servicemen. Some of the injured required hospitalization. Law enforcement released surveillance footage showing preparations for the crime. This series of incidents has caused significant concern in Belgium and Norway, highlighting growing security threats in the region.

These coordinated attacks underscore heightened tensions in Europe and the Middle East, where an increase in acts of violence and terrorism is alarming the international community. Explosions near diplomatic and religious sites may indicate the radicalization of certain groups, posing a threat to the safety of civilians and diplomatic personnel. While law enforcement agencies are taking steps to bolster security, public anxiety remains high due to the potential for further attacks.
