At a meeting of the Coordinating Headquarters, it was decided to evacuate children from certain areas of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions due to threats in these locations. The evacuation will be conducted together with parents or their legal representatives, who have the choice of where to go next.

The evacuation of institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region is also ongoing. More than 129 thousand people have already been evacuated, including over 15 thousand children and more than 4 thousand persons with limited mobility from six regions of Ukraine.

Statistics on evacuation

From June 1 to November 21, 2025, more than 129 thousand people have been evacuated, including over 15 thousand children and more than 4 thousand persons with limited mobility. The evacuation was carried out from Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Evacuees receive comprehensive assistance at transit centers, where they are provided humanitarian, medical, psychological, legal, and social assistance. Additionally, 20 recreation centers are operating in six regions, and a new center is being prepared for opening in Kyiv.

The main task is to provide adequate living conditions for vulnerable groups of the population and to open new temporary accommodation points in safe regions of Ukraine.
