Video from the network saved children from a grieving mother

According to glavcom.ua: A scandal has arisen in Kryvyi Rih due to a video showing a three-year-old girl sleeping in terrible conditions, surrounded by dirt and feces, while her mother sleeps nearby in another room, surrounded by alcohol bottles. There are five children in the family, and the father is at the front. A neighbor contacted social services, but to no avail.

'The photos were taken three months ago when I first contacted the service for help. They came once and said everything was fine. It's a disgrace to such services,' the author of the video said.

Only after the publication in the media and social networks were two children removed from the family - a three-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy. The older children were still at home and are being sought.

Social services explain that the mother is awaiting trial and faces the threat of losing parental rights. This situation has sparked discussions about the effectiveness of social services and child protection in Ukraine.

Unfair distribution of vouchers to Hungary

A scandal is also actively being discussed in Kryvyi Rih regarding the distribution of free vouchers to Hungary for children's vacation in the summer of 2023. Law enforcement has opened a criminal case on this matter, which was confirmed in response to journalists' inquiries. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing Svoi.

Journalists see a violation of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - 'service forgery.' It is also planned to add Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - 'abuse of power or official position' to the case.

As a result of media and social network publicity, two children were removed from dangerous conditions; however, this story raised an important question about the effectiveness of social services and the protection of children's rights in Ukraine.
