Five Ukrainians in the symbolic team of the Conference League: who made it
The analytical portal Sofascore has published the symbolic team of the best players based on the results of the third round of the group stage of the Conference League. Five Ukrainians representing three different clubs made it to the team of the week.
Three footballers from Dynamo - Denys Popov, Vitaliy Buyalskyi, and Vladyslav Kabayev - as well as Artem Bondarenko from Shakhtar and Oleksandr Romanchuk, who plays for CSU Krajowa, were included in the symbolic team.
Recall that yesterday, November 6, in the matches of the Conference League, the Kyiv team defeated Zrinjski (6:0), the Donetsk club beat Breidablik (2:0), and CSU Krajowa overcame Rapid (1:0).
World Cup Qualifiers. Group D
In a tense match, the Ukrainian national team defeated Iceland 5:3, with important goals scored by our players: Malinovsky, Hutsulyak, Kalyuzhny, and Ocheretko.
Meeting with Azerbaijan
In the second round of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team drew with Azerbaijan - 1:1. The goals in the match were scored by Mahmudi (from a penalty) and Sudakov.
The previous qualifying match against France ended in defeat for our team with a score of 0:2. Ukrainian fans showed their support for the team by displaying a banner with the inscription 'Fortress of Europe'.
