Military personnel can return to service by August 30, 2025: details of the simplified procedure
Military personnel who left their units without permission before May 10 have the opportunity to return to service using the Army+ mobile app. The deadline for submitting reports is August 30, 2025. The Ministry of Defense has published an algorithm of actions for military personnel wishing to return to service.
The first stage is submitting a report through the Army+ app. The procedure takes about five minutes. After that, the military personnel will receive a call from the Main Military Law Enforcement Service to confirm the information.
The next stage is arriving at the chosen VSP department within 24 hours of the report being approved. Contact information can be found in the report. The commander has 72 hours to restore payments and social guarantees.
After being reinstated in the reserve unit, servicemen can submit a report to change their place of service. For those who left their unit after May 10, the procedure will take a month, and they can only return to their previous unit.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that there is a difference in procedures for different categories of military personnel, and it is important to follow the established deadlines and rules for a successful return to service.
