Military conscripts have been relieved of the obligation to undergo annual VLK updates: official decision
According to hvylya.net: Clarifications regarding the military medical examination in Ukraine is a sensitive topic for many citizens. In particular, an official response from the Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces explains the procedure for undergoing this process. It is noted that individuals who have been confirmed fit for military service are not required to undergo the annual examination again. This information was shared by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
According to official explanations, individuals who passed the VLK without restrictions are not obligated to undergo this procedure necessarily every year.
It is also important to note that the VLK conclusion does not lose its validity over time, so it is impossible to deny a deferment due to the 'outdatedness' of the medical conclusion. Repeated commission passage is only necessary for individuals who were previously classified as limited fit or temporarily unfit for service. A reminder of the rights of military conscripts is necessary to understand the importance of this issue and to avoid misunderstandings.
Ukrainian military conscripts have received clarifications regarding the military medical examination that refute the widespread practices of territorial recruitment centers. It is important to know your rights and not to succumb to illegal demands that may violate legislation in this area.
