NOC of Ukraine approved the preparation plan for the 2026 Olympics: key decisions
The President of the NOC of Ukraine, Olympic champion VadymGuttsait, summed up the year and discussed the preparations for the XXV Winter Olympic Games in 2026. During the meeting, he emphasized the strategic tasks facing the Ukrainian Olympic movement and talked about the activities of the NOC of Ukraine.
Executive Committee members discussed the draft of a new Law of Ukraine on Sports, expressed their comments and concerns regarding certain provisions of the document. The proposals will be sent to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for further processing.
Preparation for the XLII General Assembly of the NOC of Ukraine
Participants listened to and discussed the event's plan and approved the composition of the Ethics Commission for the period 2025-2029. The First Vice President of the NOC of Ukraine informed those present about important issues of the NOC's activities and the procedures for resolving sports disputes.
Ludmila Panchenko, Executive Director of the NOC of Ukraine, drew attention to Ukraine's preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and the work of local commissions and departments of the NOC. Her report also addressed the update of the logo book and the use of the official logo of the NOC of Ukraine.

During the Executive Committee meeting, the NOC of Ukraine discussed preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games, as well as the draft of the new sports law. Members expressed their comments and concerns regarding certain provisions of this bill, which will be taken into account in future work. They also approved the plan for holding the XLII General Assembly of the NOC of Ukraine and the composition of the Ethics Commission for the next four years.
