A Large-Scale Attack Across Ukraine

According to Кабмін: Russia launched a massive overnight assault on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and drones. The strikes targeted Kyiv and nine other regions:

• Dnipropetrovsk
• Odesa
• Sumy
• Donetsk
• Zaporizhzhia
• Kherson
• Poltava

Five people were hurt in Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia as a result of the attacks. In Kramatorsk, emergency crews rescued four people after a guided bomb hit a multi-story apartment building.

Rescuers and Medics on the Ground

Nearly 300 rescuers and about 100 units of specialized equipment are working to deal with the aftermath. In the Kyiv region, drones struck industrial enterprises, where cleanup operations are also under way. Preliminary reports indicate serious damage to critical infrastructure in several regions.

“Five people were injured in Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia. In Kramatorsk, rescuers saved four people after a guided air bomb struck a residential building. Medics are providing them with the necessary care,” said Serhiy Koretsky, Ukraine’s Prime Minister.

This assault underscores the continued escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, causing more civilian casualties and widespread infrastructure destruction. With the threat from the aggressor persisting, the role of rescue services and air defense becomes even more critical.
